MKS Custom Upholstery is a reputable, full service trim shop serving customers throughout Wisconsin and beyond.
Mark Burns, Owner of MKS Custom Upholstery, began working in upholstery in 1977. Mark grew up learning the trade from his Father, Ken Burns, who ran Ken’s Auto Trim of Milwaukee. He also worked 14 years for an Auto Trim Shop in West Bend, WI. Mark was in motorcycle sales for 12 years at the House of Harley Davidson, Milwaukee, and Suburban HD, Thiensville, WI.
He developed a strong customer following for his niche in motorcycle seats–repairing, resizing, gel inserts and custom stitching. Soon after, he started MKS Custom Upholstery in 2000. Today the 1500 sq. ft. shop and sewing facility is located in Slinger, WI.
Here at MKS Custom Upholstery, we treat our clients' needs as if they were our own. We take the time to listen to our clients to gain a full understanding of their vision for their vehicle's upholstery, and we see to it that all our efforts are aligned with their vision from start to finish.
